Vacancy - Commis Chef

We are looking to recruit an ambitious Chef to join our busy kitchen team.  Are you an ambitious chef, eager to progress your career and make a name for yourself as part of a hard-working and passionate team? We are currently offering a talented chef the opportunity to develop his/her skills in a busy kitchen as Commis Chef. 

The Role

You would play an important role as part of a hard-working team, working closely with the Head Chef to provide customers with a fantastic dining experience. You will be responsible for the daily operation of your section within the kitchen and related areas, taking charge of the production for food of great quality, ensuring that all production is carried out with appropriate food portion control, use of recipes, and hotel concepts. The role is very hands on and will give the successful candidate an exceptional start in the restaurant business.

The Candidate

You will need to be ready to work in a busy, fast-paced environment with a passion for great food. You will be highly motivated and flexible in all aspects of the Commis Chef role. You will be a reliable individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work under pressure and cohesively as part of a high functioning team.   This role may be suitable for you if you have a background as any of the following: Sous Chef, Chef de Partie, Commis Chef, Demi Chef de Partie.
